Disadvantages of DB/APVC/PVC smart roof sheets

1. Unsuitable for areas with hailstorms.

2. The APVC/PVC sheets cannot be fitted in an area where the temperature is 50 – 60 degrees or more such as near a fireplace or a furnace.

3. No insulation material or ceiling sheets can be fitted under APVC/PVC sheets. Make sure that the ventilation is good.

4. The darker sheets may expand and become lighter than the white ones.

Properties of DB smart roof sheet

• DB smart roof sheets are different from other brands. APVC smart roof sheet is 2.0 mm. thick; it has 4 layers. PVC smart roof sheet is 1.5 mm. thick; it has 3 layers. The more layers it has the better it keeps the light off, so the sheets do not get too hot.
  
• The DB products will have the DB logo printed on all APVC/PVC sheets. The logo is the guarantee of product quality.
  
• Being impervious to seawater, acid and chemicals, APVC/PVC smart roof sheets are suitable for houses or buildings near the sea.
  
• APVC/PVC smart roof sheets are not suitable for houses or buildings in the area where hailstorms occur. They cannot withstand the impact of hailstones.
  
• APVC/PVC smart roof sheets should not be fitted in any area where there is a furnace, site or facility with temperature of 50 – 60 degrees, as they may warp or become disfigured.
  
• No heat insulators, foams or ceiling units should be fitted under APVC/PVC smart roof sheets, as they may prevent heat release which will make the sheets warp or become disfigured. Make sure that the ventilation is good.
  
• APVC/PVC smart roof sheets come in 3 colors. White sheets expand the least, so they are suitable for all types of conditions. Dark sheets may expand more easily; bright and dark sheets such as orange and gray sheets can fade more easily
  

Info on DB smart roof sheets

1. The first layer is quality PVC, which is highly resilient. Resin is added to offer weather and UV resistance slow down fading and extend life.

2. The second layer is a heat release form which also works as a sound insulator.

3. The third layer is white, resilient and durable PVC.

4. The fourth layer is highly tough and resilient material.

Fitting of DB (APVC - PVC) smart roof sheets

1. APVC of 2.0 mm. thick: roof beam interval of 80 cm.

2. PVC of 1.5 mm. thick: roof beam interval of 60 cm.
